Johnson Obasola and his Nigerian International Juju Music

Johnson Obasola brings you traditional Nigerian Juju music created by the Yoruba tribe in Nigeria, West Africa. Johnson blends traditional African percussion with modern instruments like guitar and synthesizer. A virtual one-man-show, Johnson uses computer and live instruments to bring the sound of a five piece band to life. His music creates a fun atmosphere for private parties, Caribbean beach parties, boat parties, and cultural African concerts for schools.

About Nigerian Juju Music

Juju music, popular in Nigeria, West Africa, is the native music of the Yoruba tribe. The modernization of Juju music is called Yo-pop and uses modern instruments such as guitars, synthesizers, etc., blended with traditional African percussion and vocalizations. Yo-pop is popular for social functions in Nigeria.

Johnson Obasola and his 5-piece band could be a fun and interesting cultural addition to your next party, concert or festival.
